Getting busy tonight? Here are some no-fail beauty tips and tricks that might lend to a more longwear makeup look that will keep you glowing from foreplay to pillow talk.

Opt for a Budge-Proof Lip Color

This one’s a bit of a no-brainer, but if you do want a lip color on your lips for sexytime make sure it’s something that won’t move once you do. There are a ton of options on the market these days. While some prefer a liquid lip, I’m more partial to a stain. A lip stain basically just gives a tint to your lips the same way the residue of cherries might leave. You’re free to apply lip balm over to keep your lips juicy and moisturized. Liquid lipsticks can definitely be more drying and may lend to a less pleasurable smooching experience. Take Your No-Makeup Makeup Up a Notch

Of course, any makeup look or none at all is acceptable when you’re getting busy, but if you’re going for an invisible makeup look that just takes your natural self up a notch I’ve got some tips for ya. First is some sort of pore smoothing primer. Primers are intended to prep the skin for makeup, creating a more smooth and seamless canvas for the products to come, but you can take advantage of these blurring and smoothing effects without any additional layers. Products like Milk Blur stick blur your pores like a filter, so you’ll look smooth and supple without any heavy coverage. (If you do want a bit of extra coverage, just spot conceal where needed.) Another subtle product that will just provide a glowy boost is a liquid highlight. This could be in the form of a glowy moisturizer like iNN Beauty Project Face Glaze Skin Barrier Protect & Glow Moisturizer or in the form of priming highlighter like the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter which adds a little bit of coverage as well. Apply all over for a major glow moment or just hit the high points of the face like the top of the cheekbones and cupid's bow of the lip. These products aren’t glittery, but luminescent, to give your skin a post-sex glow before you’ve even gotten started.

Waterproof Your Glam

If you don’t want your face on your pillow post-coitus make sure to add some waterproof products into your makeup recipe. Instead of regular mascara try something like the Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara or any mascara that is waterproof. It’ll be a bit harder to get off when you actually want to remove it, but it’ll be worth it to not have mascara running down your face. Whether you’re in doggy, more of a spooning moment or just whipping your hair around in transitional moments, a sweet smell can be just the boost needed to intensify desire & delight in the experience.
