I was curious to try the Desire Gummies, given the claims for them made by Dame. I wasn’t expecting much. I was wrong. But they’re helping me in a way Dame might not have expected. I have ADHD (mainly inattentive) and have tried pretty much all of the different medications that help some people with ADHD. The amphetamine drugs all made me groggy (it’s uncommon, but not unheard of), except for Vyvanse, which is a different type of amphetamine. But with Vyvanse the effect is so subtle for me that I’m not entirely sure they even work, unless I take a large enough dose, and then I experience an uncommon side effect of them making my toes colder than they already get. With the Desire Gummies, once I started consistently taking two gummies every day I realized that I am more focused and more motivated to accomplish things, which is what all ADHD medications are supposed to help with. I may have found the substance my atypical, neurodivergent body/brain needs in order to be productive.
